Peter LeSaffre is Founder, President and CEO of Fusion Worldwide. With over 35 years of experience, Peter is one of the original pioneers and leaders of the independent distribution industry for electronic components. Working as a sales rep for a franchised distributor in the 1970’s, Peter saw a huge need going unfilled. In response, he founded RW Electronics (Real World) in 1982, supporting the early computer, defense, and telecommunication companies with allocated, obsolete, and line down shortage product. RW Electronics grew into a $180 million broad line distributor of electronic components which Peter sold in 1999. He founded Fusion Worldwide in 2001 because he felt he could build a better, more global, more responsive company. He has built Fusion Worldwide into a true global company and one of the world’s largest, most innovative, and most respected independent distributors of electronic components. Peter continues to be very involved in the day to day operation of Fusion actively setting strategic direction and steering the company. Peter is married and has two children. His son Luke has worked as a trader for Fusion Worldwide since 2011.
Paul Romano is the COO of Fusion Worldwide, a position he has held since joining the company as employee number one in 2001. Prior to Fusion, Paul held similar roles with RW Electronics (Real World) and Converge. Paul started his career as an officer in the US Army, leaving with the rank of Major. He holds a BA from Bucknell University, an MSSM from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from the Booth School at the University of Chicago. Paul is the current President of the Board of the Independent Distributors of Electronics Association, a role he has held for the past 4 years. He was selected as a ‘Supply Chain Pro to Know’ in 2013 by Supply and Demand Chain Executive and is a sought after expert in electronic component distribution quality.
Tobey Gonnerman is the Executive Vice President Global Trade for Fusion Worldwide, responsible for global sales. He joined Fusion Worldwide in 2005 as Purchasing Manager and quickly rose to Purchasing Director and then to VP of Global Purchasing before assuming his present role. Tobey is an industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience including working as both buyer and Purchasing Manager at RW Electronics (Real World). Tobey holds a BA in political science from Plymouth State University.
Behzad Monfared joined Fusion Worldwide in 2010 as an Account Manager. He was named Rookie of the Year in 2011 and has steadily moved up; first as team leader and currently as the sales manager. Behzad has prior experience as an account manager at Dell. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing.
Marcus Chen joined Fusion Worldwide in 2008 as an Account Executive. In his current role, Marcus oversees all sales for the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining Fusion Worldwide, Marcus worked at United Overseas Bank in a wealth management role. He has also served in the Singapore Army, attaining a rank of Captain. Marcus holds a BA Degree in International Business Management from Northumbria University.
Jeremy Pierce is the US Purchasing Manager for Fusion Worldwide. He joined Fusion Worldwide in 2007 as a purchasing representative. Jeremy was promoted in 2009 to Global Commodity Manager for Finished goods, LCD’s and Storage. In 2014 he was promoted to his present role as head of US purchasing. Prior positions include roles in the financial industry. Jeremy holds a BS from St. Lawrence University.
Jair Cruger is the Purchasing Manager EMEA. He joined Fusion Worldwide in 2008 as a buyer. Prior roles include stints in sales and as MD of a Marketing Organization where he was recognized for his performance and team leadership. Jair holds a degree in economics from the Hogeschool Van Amsterdam.
Wei Liang Leu is the Purchasing Manager for the Asia Pacific region. He joined Fusion Worldwide in 2011 as a purchasing representative and progressed through positions of increasing responsibility before being promoted into his present role. Prior to Fusion Worldwide he held procurement roles in the Life Sciences industry. Wei Liang holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Logistics, Materials and Supply Chain Management from the Singapore Institute of Management
Michi Sham is the Sales Manager for the Asia Pacific region. She joined Fusion Worldwide in 2015 as a purchasing representative and progressed through positions before being promoted into her current role. Prior to joining Fusion Worldwide, she held procurement roles with Jabil and Dell. Michi holds a Bachelor of Marketing from the University Tun Abdul Razak in Malaysia.
Dylan Chew started his career in the Semiconductor industry as an Inside Sales Representative at an Independent Distributor for 6 years, before joining WPG Holdings as a Sales Manager. He subsequently took on the additional roles of Product Marketing and Sales Manager for Samsung Memory with Yosun Singapore. His 4 year stint in the Franchised Distribution space, combined with his understanding of Independent Distribution, brought him to Fusion Worldwide as a Supplier Development Director. Dylan also served in the SAF, where he was an Officer in Command of an Infantry Company.
Steve Roche Joined Fusion Worldwide in 2005 as a software architect before assuming the role as CTO. He is responsible for the development of the SCOUT ERP system as well as technology infrastructure and innovation. Prior roles included software development, CTO, and the founding of two software companies that he sold. Steve holds a BS in Management from Boston College and is an avid cyclist and fundraiser for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
Brian Ronan Joined Fusion Worldwide as Controller in 2007. Brian held similar roles at Hello Direct and GN Jabra. A CPA in the state of Massachusetts, Brian holds a BSBA in Accounting from Siena College.
